Amber Grosjean has been writing since she was eleven years old, during a time where bullies kept her running. Writing stories made a way for Amber to slow down and put her imagination to the test. Since then, she's written under three pen names: Amber Rigby Grosjean, A.R. Grosjean, and Amber Grosjean.

Today, you can find all of Amber's books under one name: Amber Grosjean. She enjoys writing several genres and subgenres. This keeps her on her toes.

Outside of writing, Amber enjoys playing games, watching TV, and occasionally crocheting something to wear.

  • Amber married Jack Grosjean in 1996. He is her biggest fan.

  • Amber has 3 children who are grown.

  • Amber has 5 grandchildren who call her Nana.

  • None of Amber's books has spice (no sex).

  • Some of Amber's books have a mature undertone (Heart of Thirst).

  • Amber writes for most age groups. Some children, YA/NA, and adult (clean).

  • Today, Amber lives in a small city in Indiana.

  • Amber is a watcher—she enjoys watching others, absorbing what's around her. Those things inspire her daily through writing and living.

  • Amber began using her real name in November 2024.

  • Writing and her life beyond the pages blend together. She will take events from the life around her to create new stories or plotlines. Somethings are added to character backstories and personalities. It is a way to bring the two worlds together, creating a new world.
