I believe in showing support for Indie Authors because I know how hard it is to write a book, let alone market that book.
You know, they say it takes a village to raise a child. A book is an author's child, it's a big part of that author. I totally agree with the saying and think it runs true for authors just it would for parents.
I set up a website to assist Indie authors. It doesn't cost anything to be included. Except, I do ask all authors who are added to share the link for the site.
That link is: https://booktoursauthorsun.wixsite.com/home
BookTour is a big deal because it is more than a place to spread the word about authors. It's also a place to find resources for authors. If I'm missing something, please let me know and I will do the research to get things added on that page for authors. There's also a page where authors can advertise for other things like authors who make covers for authors, authors who have editorial services, etc. I have a Q&A page set up to answer all of your questions, but if there is a question you have that isn't there, you can ask me directly through email or on any social network where I'm residing. My email is ambergrosjeanwrite@hotmail.com
Here are the basics...
Your author name, bio, links to Amazon (or wherever your books are sold if not on Amazon), and links you want shared (social networks, website, newsletter, etc).
All of your books (after on the site, you need to update me when you publish something new) and linked.
I provide a "In the Spotlight" for books on or off the site which is also shared in the BookTour newsletter (it goes out on the 5th) and blog.
Newsletters go out every month and include 3 authors in every issue. And you don't even have to be on the website to be included in that either! So that's 3 places I can share your books at no cost (except for sharing the link).
I also do "interviews" which are shared in my newsletter and on the BookTour blog.
I was thinking of creating a BookTour Team where I unite other authors who can include information in their newsletters, but haven't gotten that idea running. If you would be interested in helping me spread the word about other Indie Authors please let me know. The things we would do as a team would be...
Posting an interview with the author either in a blog or newsletter
Mentioning BookTour in a special newsletter
Finding resources for the site (I would add them to the site)
Sharing the "In the Spotlight"
What do you think of this idea?
Anyway, check out the site. If you're not on there yet, you can fill out the form on the main page and I'll get you added in as soon as I'm able. Getting information on the site does take time and I'm the only one who can update the site. The links for interviews, spotlight, and to be included in the newsletters are on the site if you're interested in any of those. And I don't restrict how many interviews a writer gets, so if you already had one, you can get another one done! No limits. See you there!
