Alphabet Murders

I am in the editing process for this novel. I have no idea how many rounds it will take; each book is different. But I thought I would share some details about the book for those who are waiting for it. You know who you are.

This is a child's card. I made it using Canva for moments like this. It is one of the "clues" for the story. Evie Cross (MC) is sure that the sheriff in the small town of Haven Creek is incompetent. For one, he's sharing the full details of the crime scene with the media on the same day of the crime. He is also leaving evidence behind. This pulls Evie into investigating the crime on her own.

Surviving an attack by the same killer only pushes Evie deeper into her "sleuthing" but also puts a bullseye on her back. But she's tired of being a victim and is determined to figure out the clues and stop the killer since the sheriff isn't doing anything about the killings. He calls them robberies gone wrong. But nothing is being taken. And he's leaving a calling card, plus a note. After the judge is found dead, the pieces begin to fall in place. This town is hiding secrets.

Between running from a killer, piecing the clues together, and learning the secrets, Evie has been trying to live a normal life. Between eating cinnamon buns with an apple twist and sipping on coffee (black), she's making friends and enemies.
