Behind the Shadows--October Movie List

October is all about Halloween. I just love horror movies, it's my favorite genre in the movie world. I look forward to October for this reason. I don't have to do a long search for horror movies because each network compiles a list for your viewing pleasure for you. Just turn on whatever app or channel you're watching and enjoy.

If you have a choice between different movies, how do you decide what to watch first? Well, it helps when you have a list to go from. Maybe I can help you choose. Of course, the list is long so it really depends on if you're watching alone or with kids. And that depends the kids' ages. You don't want to cause nightmares so keep movies appropriate for them. Disney is a great place to watch kid-friendly ghost stories for the entire family to enjoy. You can begin there. Having the Disney Plus app helps because you can choose from their list, going in any order you prefer, and watch on your schedule.

So, if you don't have kids watching the movie with you and you can handle the gore, the sky is the limit.

Here are some great movies with ghosts, perfect for October. You can also watch Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Sleepy Hollow, VHS, Pumpkinhead, Ghostbusters (you can watch them all in order), Fright Night, and more.

Some of the movies may not be available on the apps you have. If you have a DVD player, you can rent a movie for a night filled with horror.
