End of the Year sale

Last year, I joined Draft2Digital, not knowing how things would turn out with them. Shortly after, I decided to include my books in their end-of-the-year sale, making all of my available books free. I was nervous about it, but thought taking the chance would be a good thing. It was.

This year, I'm doing things a little differently. Some of my books will be free while others will be 50% off. I'm still taking a chance, but I have hopes my books will find readers who will cherish the stories as much as I do. Maybe even more! Some of my books weren't included because they weren't available during the opening of the sale. Maybe next year, not sure yet. Anyway, I can only hope for the same results, but I won't expect it to happen because that's putting the cart before the horse, and I don't want to expect anything. I do pray though.

By having my books on sale, I'm not gaining anything except readers. Readers are the most important thing, and I want them (you) to be happy, so this is something I'll probably do every year. I haven't decided. But it is a good way to take a chance on my stories without losing anything.

So, on December 8th, the sale begins. You can visit Smashwords to find my books as well as millions of other authors' books. Maybe you'll find a new favorite like one of mine. I'm crossing my fingers! Check it out at smashwords.com/sale and fill your TBR list. These are all ebooks, so you should be able to carry more than two or three books lol. Maybe ten or twenty? When they are free, you can make room. Right? But, even 99 cents--that's cheap. Right? Okay, I'm not trying to be salesy, but I was excited and I wanted to share this with you. If reading isn't your cup of tea, then we'll find something else for you to do. Wait, hold the horses, you're here, reading an author's blog, and you don't like to read? I don't think that's possible. You like to read, probably more than I do. And I bet you have a pile of books waiting for you to read, collecting dust right now because the list is so long. Am I right? No problem. Ebooks sit comfortably inside your tablet, computer, or whatever device you read them on, so they will wait happily for you while you read those books on that pile. Don't feel guilty about having a long list of books waiting to be read. It happens. So, what are you waiting for? Go read a book!
