Time for Celebration!

ree

Did you know that on November 21, 2024, I published my first book under this name? It has been one year now that I've been using my real name. I thought I would celebrate this month!

I will be in the process of rebranding my books (began on Aug 15th). As you can see from the picture I included, you'll notice a significant difference in my logo. That's only the beginning. I spent hours working on my new logo, so it would represent me as a person and as a writer!

Before the official celebration begins, I want to take this time to break it all down.

If you don't already know, I write in a wide variety of genres. I just love the writing process and can't get enough. My mind will explode if I stop. Okay, it won't explode, but you get the idea. My life, in and out of writing, can be described like this: It is an adventure, but it's also organized chaos. You know how nothing ever goes according to plan. Well, I don't write with a plan; I start with an idea and allow my characters to do the rest. And even then, it's a little chaotic, which I love. I enjoy being busy. I set goals and end up finishing before the "deadline," which always gets me excited. When I created my logo, I wanted it to represent that. And I wanted something that would work for all those genres that I write because there are so many of them. I'm across the board in that chaotic way! My romance is no spice/no sex, so anyone can read them. Of course, I don't have "rules," so I do have one book (Heart of Thirst) that does have a little spice, still no sex. And when I say little, I mean level 1, but the rest of the story is a little heavier than sweet (heavy on the vampire lore). Yes, I love vampires!

This is the main picture being used in my new logo. You're going to see this everywhere, including my website which has already been upgraded to the new look. My stories spill from the pages because they spill from my mind, kind of like an explosion. That's organized chaos! And it's a good thing. At least for me. Probably for you too because you get to benefit from it!! I'm a bit twisted, which means my stories will always be original! Even when I write my version of another story like Alice in Wonderland--my version was totally different, but you can actually tell where the idea came from when you read the free story. It's called Strange New World. Already read it? Then you know. Haven't read it? You are missing out on a fun story!

What hasn't changed? My colors are still Pink, Purple, and Teal (I added 2 more colors!). I kept my slogan "Explore where only the mind can reach", which is in the same font that I used before. Cynzel is one of my favorite fonts, so I'm not going to stop using that. And those pink clouds are staying too!

This is the actual logo where everything (except the clouds) are tied together. This will be added to my books (on the spine) when they are published. That goes for the new books, not the ones I've already had published before this point. So those books that were originally under A.R. Grosjean will use my old logo. For now.

Now, you're probably wondering why I decided to change my branding. You've seen the old logo, the plain black and white logo that was nothing special. I'm on Instagram a lot, and I see other authors with their pretty logos, and I look at mine, and I realize mine really doesn't fit me as a writer. It took a while to come up with this design, and I'm very happy with it because it DOES fit me. Can you hear how excited I am?

Wait until you see my blog signature!

Okay, so now let's celebrate! Where's the DJ? I need some music, and we need a dance floor. Do you have your favorite drink? How about some great snacks? Reply below and tell me what you're bringing to the "party" and let's celebrate together! Oh, hey, pass me the dip! Thank you! By the way, this is an extended party that's gonna last as long as we want!
